The Quarter Horse design is made up of five separate pieces of leather.
Three of the pieces make up the front and back sections of the belt and the other two are the side panels. The joint between the pieces are glued together and then sewn in place with edge border stitching. Then we add the conchos in the joints as another source of strength to tie it all together.
